InterVoca provides word packs organized by curriculum, year level, and subject so international school students can learn the academic vocabulary they meet in real classes more easily.
Word packs are not static content created once and left unchanged. They are continually refined to match current international school curricula. Below is the list of word packs currently available in InterVoca as of May 11, 2026.
International Primary
International Primary provides subject vocabulary by year level from Year 1 to Year 6, focusing on key words students often meet in primary classes.

At the Primary level, the focus is on helping students become familiar with basic subject concepts and classroom instruction language.
British Curriculum
British Curriculum currently includes Lower Secondary and selected IGCSE subjects.
Lower Secondary
Lower Secondary is organized by year level from Year 7 to Year 9.

At Lower Secondary, subject-specific language becomes more distinct. History is also separated into History Core, which supports general historical thinking, and British History, which focuses on the British history context.

MYP

Command Terms is essential. It brings together important vocabulary that appears repeatedly in instructions and assessment tasks across subjects.
It helps students move beyond simply knowing word meanings and understand what a task is asking them to do. Because subjects such as Science, Mathematics, English, and History often share instruction and assessment language, Command Terms functions as a cross-curricular academic vocabulary foundation.
Academic Vocabulary covers general academic words used broadly in study and research, organized into Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.
As students move up through the year levels, they need to handle longer sentences and more abstract explanations, not just subject content itself. Academic Vocabulary supports the subject-specific word packs by building that shared academic base.
Theme Pack
Apart from curriculum-based content, Theme Pack lets students study vocabulary connected to their own interests.

The English students need in international schools is not only about speaking fluently.
They also need to understand lessons, read questions accurately, and explain their ideas with supporting reasons.
Vocabulary is the foundation for building that ability.
InterVoca will continue to expand curriculum- and year-level content so students can better understand the language they meet in real classrooms.
